THARPARKAR: Following intermittent rains since yesterday, the death toll from various incidents of drowning in rainwater has risen to four.
According to police, a young man named Limoon Meghwar drowned while bathing in rainwater in the village of Ranchhari, Chhachhro tehsil.
In another incident, young Aqeed Lanjo lost his life while bathing in rainwater in the village of Karihar, Diplo tehsil.
Local residents stated that the bodies of both youths were recovered from the rainwater by locals on a self-help basis.
Crowds of children and youths have increased around rainwater ponds in various villages, while the district administration is nowhere to be seen.
