TURBAT :Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday inaugurated a modern Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) Hospital at the FC South Headquarters in Turbat, describing the facility as a long-overdue addition to the region’s healthcare infrastructure.
During his visit, the minister toured the hospital’s outpatient department (OPD), specialized wards, MRI and CT scan units, and operation theatres. He commended Inspector General FC Balochistan (South) Major General Bilal Sarfraz Khan and his team for completing and operationalizing the advanced medical facility in record time.
Naqvi expressed satisfaction at the hospital becoming fully functional so quickly, noting that Turbat had urgently required a modern healthcare centre equipped with advanced medical services. He emphasized that the hospital would not only serve FC personnel but also provide quality medical treatment to the local civilian population.
The interior minister received a detailed briefing on the healthcare services and facilities available at the hospital. Major General Bilal Sarfraz Khan also apprised him of the force’s professional training standards and ongoing field operations across the region.
Praising the professionalism and operational preparedness of FC Balochistan (South), Naqvi acknowledged the force’s crucial role in maintaining security in the province. He paid tribute to FC personnel for what he described as successful operations against “Fitna al-Hindustan” and other banned militant organizations operating in the area.
The visit underscored the government’s commitment to strengthening both security infrastructure and public healthcare in Balochistan, with officials reiterating that the newly inaugurated hospital would benefit security personnel and civilians alike in Turbat and surround
ing areas.
