SHEIKHUPURA: Three young children from the same family drowned after a dyke of the Bhir drain broke in Pathan Colony, Ferozewala, Sheikhupura District, causing water to accumulate near their home.
The victims were identified as Daniyal, Noman, and Burhan, who slipped into deep water while bathing. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and transported the children to a hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead.
The tragic incident left the family grieving and the community in shock, prompting locals to urge authorities to ensure the timely repair and maintenance of drains and protective dykes.
