QUETTA: Security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Splinji area near Kolpur, neutralizing four terrorists during an intense exchange of fire.
According to details, security forces surrounded a terrorist hideout acting on a credible tip-off. As troops moved in to secure the compound, the cornered terrorists opened fire, prompting a fierce and decisive response from the security personnel.
During the heavy firefight, four terrorists were sent to hell.
However, displaying supreme courage in the line of duty, two brave security personnel embraced Shahadat (martyrdom).
Additionally, three other soldiers sustained injuries during the gun battle and have been swiftly shifted to a medical facility for necessary treatment, where their condition is being monitored.
Following the encounter, security forces launched an extensive clearance and search operation in the surrounding areas to hunt down any fleeing accomplices or potential facilitators.
Officials reiterated that counter-terrorism operations and intelligence-driven sweeps will continue unabated until the complete eradication of militant elements from the province.
