QUETTA: The Governor Mir Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that the youth are the architects of a bright and prosperous future for Balochistan, stressing that they possess the potential to transform the province through education, skills, and innovation.
In this regard, Mandokhail said that Pakistan’s economic stability and progress are closely linked to the development of Balochistan. However, he noted that the province cannot move toward sustainable progress unless justice, public trust, and equal opportunities are ensured for its people.
He focused on that promoting education, vocational training, and positive engagement among young people is essential for long-term prosperity.
In this sense, as per the governor, the youth of Balochistan represent Pakistan’s greatest asset and can play a vital role in the country’s economic and social development if provided with the necessary opportunities.
Meanwhile, Mandokhail mentioned that the importance of equipping young people with modern education and professional skills, saying that investment in human capital is the most effective way to secure the province’s future.
He added that empowering youth through quality education would help them contribute meaningfully to national progress while also addressing social and economic challenges.
The governor acknowledged that unemployment, limited educational opportunities, and socio-economic hardships remain among the major issues confronting the youth of Balochistan.
He said the provincial government is committed to addressing these challenges through practical and people-centered policies aimed at expanding access to education, improving vocational training, and creating better employment opportunities.
Mandokhail urged political leaders, social organizations, academics, parents, and community representatives to join hands in guiding the younger generation.
He stressed the need to discourage negative influences, promote positive thinking, maintain social harmony, and create an environment where young people can thrive.
The governor further stated that the active participation of the youth in constructive activities would pave the way for a peaceful, developed, and prosperous Balochistan.
