Four More Militants Killed as Operation Shaban Continues Against India-Sponsored Dogs in Balochistan

QUETTA: Pakistani security forces have killed four more militants during the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, bringing the total number of militants killed in the operation to 121, security sources said on Tuesday.

Pakistan had launched Operation Shahban against Indian-sponsored militants associated with Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al KHawarij on July 5 following a deadly wave of coordinated attacks that killed dozens of police officers, soldiers, and civilians.

The operation is being carried out jointly by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and provincial police against militants of TTP, also known as Fitna al-Khawarij and BLA, known as  Fitna al Hindusta.

Security sources said ground and air operations were continuing across the area to target militant hideouts.

They said the latest operation inflicted heavy losses on the militants and confirmed that four more fighters had been killed.

According to the sources, security forces have killed a total of 121 militants in the ongoing aerial and ground operation ‘Operation Shaban’ and other intelligence-based operations conducted across Balochistan since July 5.

Security sources said the operation would continue until all militants in the province had been eliminated.
