QUETTA: The effort to increase public safety and maintain law and order, Quetta Police have intensified security measures across various locations in the Sariab area.
In this regard, under the supervision of Station House Officer (SHO) Fazal Khilji, police personnel have launched an extensive checking campaign aimed at ensuring the security of residents and preventing any potential security threats.
The security teams have been deployed at key points throughout the area, where they are conducting thorough checks of vehicles, motorcycles, and individuals as part of routine security operations.
The campaign is intended to strengthen vigilance, deter criminal activity, and provide a secure environment for the public.
In this sense, SHO Fazal Khilji emphasized that the protection of citizens and the maintenance of peace and order remain the police department’s highest priorities.
He stated that the security measures are being carried out with the sole objective of safeguarding lives and property while reinforcing public confidence in law enforcement.
“The protection of the public and the establishment of lasting peace are our foremost priorities,” SHO Fazal Khilji said while reviewing the security arrangements.
The SHO also issued clear instructions to all officers and personnel deployed on checking duties, directing them to treat members of the public with courtesy, patience, and respect throughout the operation.
He stressed that while maintaining strict security standards, officers must ensure that citizens are dealt with in a professional and polite manner so they feel secure and valued during routine checks.
Police officials noted that public cooperation plays a vital role in maintaining a peaceful environment. They appealed to residents to cooperate with law enforcement personnel during checking procedures, carry the necessary identification documents when traveling, and promptly report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
