Operation Shaaban to Continue Until Last Terrorist Eliminated, Vows CM Bugti

QUETTA:  Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti visited Babri village in the Hanna Arak area on Sunday to review the ongoing Operation Shaaban against terrorists and meet with police personnel participating in the counterterrorism effort.

 

During his visit, the Chief Minister personally met each police officer and hailed their bravery, determination, professionalism, and unwavering sense of duty. He praised the sacrifices of police, Levies, Frontier Corps, and other security forces in the war against terrorism, stating that their courage is a source of pride for the entire nation.

 

“Youth who have sacrificed their lives for the peace of Balochistan are the real heroes of the nation, and their services will always be remembered,” Bugti said. He asserted that operations against terrorists and their facilitators would continue with full force, continuity, and decisiveness until the elimination of the last terrorist.

 

The Chief Minister made it clear that the land of Balochistan would be narrowed for elements challenging the writ of the state, and the protection of people’s lives and property would be ensured at all costs.

 

Police personnel expressed joy over the Chief Minister’s presence and raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” alongside him. Bugti appreciated their high morale and patriotic spirit, describing them as the strong arm of the state against terrorism.

 

Later, the Chief Minister visited the families of martyrs from the Hanna Arak incident, offered condolences, and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks. He assured the bereaved families that the Balochistan government shares their grief and would provide full government assistance and all possible cooperation.

 

“The sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain,” Bugti reiterated. He affirmed that the government is continuing steps with seriousness and determination to establish lasting peace in Balochistan, completely eradicate terrorism, and protect lives and property. He reiterated the resolve that indiscriminate action against terrorists and their facilitators will persist until terrorism is fully eliminated from the province
