ZIARAT: Following the attack on the Mangi Dam police station, security forces have launched a targeted operation against Fitna al-Khawarij militants, neutralizing 39 terrorists so far.
According to security sources, Operation Shaban was initiated in the region’s rugged, mountainous terrain following the tragic martyrdom of police personnel in the Mangi Dam assault.
In the last 24 hours, an additional 13 terrorists were eliminated. This follows earlier operations on July 6 and 7, which resulted in the deaths of 26 militants, bringing the total number of neutralized terrorists to 39.
The ongoing operation is a joint effort being executed by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and Balochistan Police.
This morning, security forces successfully repelled a terrorist attack on the Khuzdar Zehri police station, eliminating eight more terrorists.
Additionally, reports indicate that another six to seven terrorists were killed during a helicopter-led operation.
With these latest casualties, the total number of terrorists neutralized since July 5 has now reached 75.
