QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, alongside Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, visited the Girls Cadet College Quetta to inspect various faculties, academic departments, instructional facilities, and the training system.

Both dignitaries highly commended the institution’s modern educational system, high academic standards, exemplary discipline, and the administrative team’s professional dedication.

Addressing the cadets, the Chief Minister described the institution as a premier seat of learning and hailed the students as the bright future and ambassadors of Pakistan.

Expressing confidence in their potential to excel across all professional fields, he urged them to confidently project the message of patriotism and serve as representatives of the state, emphasizing that national identity and dignity stem directly from the State of Pakistan.

Chief Minister Bugti warned the students against organized anti-state propaganda aimed at misleading the youth.

He noted that certain university-based councils, operating under the guise of nationalism and student guidance, attempt to misguide innocent students, advising the youth to distance themselves from such elements.

He further condemned anti-state actors trying to exploit Baloch girls for heinous crimes like suicide bombings, stating that such actions completely contradict Baloch traditions, values, and cultural identity.

Highlighting the provincial government’s educational initiatives, the Chief Minister announced that practical steps are being taken to provide world-class education, including opportunities for talented students to access top-tier international universities like Oxford and Harvard.

To support the institution, Chief Minister Bugti announced a special grant of 12 million PKR for the Girls Cadet College Quetta, pledging personal patronage and full provincial resource mobilization to elevate it into a world-class institution.

The visit concluded with the Chief Minister and the Corps Commander planting a commemorative sapling on the college premises.
