The Funeral of Militants Killed in Pakistan's Airstrikes Spoke for Itself

ISLAMABAD: Fitna al Khawarij senior commander and former Jamaat-ul-Ahrar leader Sarbakaf Mohmand attended the funeral of terrorists killed in Pakistan’s airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Paktika province earlier this week.

Photos and videos of the funeral prayers for Jamaat-ul-Ahrar members show that leaders of the TTP, TTA, and JuA were present at the funeral directly undermines claims that they were civilians.

Under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, Pakistan on June 28-29 targeted camps and hideouts of the banned Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Fitna al-Khawarij militants in Afghanistan, killing 29 JuA militants, including commander Khan Farosh, also known as Zabal.

The operation followed Saturday night’s attack on a Pakistan Rangers camp in Karachi, which Pakistan blamed on Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Pakistan’s military said three Rangers personnel and three militants were killed in the assault, while four security personnel were injured. It also said an Afghan national was captured alive after the attack and vowed to carry out retaliatory operations against those responsible.

Pakistani officials maintain that the airstrikes targeted militant infrastructure, while the Afghan Taliban have said those killed were civilians.

Leaders from TTP, TTA, & JuA were present at funeral speaks for itself that those killed in Pakistan strikes were terrorists.

“This is the funeral prayer of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar members. The presence of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar leader Sarbakaf Mohmand at the funeral of those killed in Pakistan’s precision airstrikes in Paktika directly undermines claims that they were civilians. When Taliban and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar leaders attend the same funeral, it speaks for itself.”

Another X user, Zard said in his tweet “TTP commander and former Jamaat-ul-Ahrar leader Sarbakaf Mohmand attended the funeral of militants killed in Pakistan’s airstrikes in Paktika. TTP, TTA, and JuA leaders were present at the funeral, yet the Afghan Taliban continue to claim those killed were innocent civilians.”
