LAHORE: 14 children have lost their lives and nearly 30 others were injured after the roof of a tuition academy collapsed in the Kahna area of Lahore.
Authorities fear the death toll could rise further.
According to hospital sources, the deceased children were between the ages of five and ten.
Rescue 1122 teams, alongside local residents, recovered 28 injured children and a teacher from the rubble, transferring them to nearby medical facilities.
Emergency operations continue at the site as rescuers search the debris amid fears that more victims may still be trapped.
