ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has announced that technical-level talks under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be held in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, on June 21, 2026, indicating an important step in advancing the understandings reached under the agreement.

The discussions are being organized as a follow-up to the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. The meeting is expected to bring together representatives from the United States and Iran, alongside mediators from Pakistan and Qatar, in an effort to continue dialogue and strengthen diplomatic engagement between the parties involved.

The announcement mentions Pakistan’s continued role as a facilitator and mediator in the process.

The technical-level talks are expected to focus on advancing the framework established under the Memorandum of Understanding and exploring practical measures to implement the understandings already reached.
