MUZAFFARABAD: The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has officially declared the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) a proscribed organization. Following this declaration, authorities have issued high-profile wanted notices and announced substantial cash rewards for information leading to the apprehension of the group’s core leadership.
A bounty of PKR 10 million (1 Crore) has been placed on each of the four primary leaders of the banned organization. The targeted individuals are identified as:
- Shaukat Nawaz Mir
- Sardar Aman Khan
- Khawaja Mehran Arshad
- Umar Nazeer Kashmiri
According to official directives, these individuals are wanted by law enforcement agencies in connection with serious offenses, including direct interference in state affairs and execution of acts of sabotage.
The AJK administration has assured the public that the identity of any informant providing verifiable information that assists in the arrest of these individuals will be kept strictly confidential.
Security and law enforcement agencies have intensified operations across the region to locate and apprehend the specified individuals.
