Iran Warns Israel: Any Aggression Will Be Met Decisively

Iran Says Pakistan Leading Mediation With US

TEHRAN : Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated that its retaliatory missile attack on Israel was carried out after repeated violations of the ceasefire, warning that any action against Iran or Lebanon will be met with a strong response.

In a statement issued following the missile barrage, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said the ceasefire in Lebanon was an integral part of the April agreement, and the measures taken were in response to Israeli actions in Lebanon.

“The attacks were conducted after repeated ceasefire violations,” the ministry said, emphasizing that Iran’s move was a direct response to Israeli aggression on Lebanese territory.

The statement further warned that any act of aggression against Iran or Lebanon would face a decisive and powerful response. The ministry did not elaborate on the specifics of the April agreement but reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to retaliating against any violations.

The statement comes after Iran launched missiles at Israel in retaliation for Israeli attacks on the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The Israeli military has acknowledged the missile fire and reported that its air defense systems were intercepting the projectiles.

Iranian officials have repeatedly cautioned that continued Israeli operations in Lebanon would trigger broader consequences. The Foreign Ministry’s latest warning reinforces Tehran’s stance that any future aggression against either Iran or its allies in Lebanon will not go unanswered.
