15-Old Prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi Joins Team India

DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has included 15-year-old aggressive left-handed batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi in both the senior national squad and India ‘A’ teams following his exceptional performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

According to Indian media reports, because Suryavanshi is still a minor and joining the senior setup for the first time, the cricket board has specially requested his parents to accompany him on the upcoming tours of Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.

To facilitate this, the BCCI has granted a special exemption and will fully cover all travel and accommodation expenses for his parents.

Indian cricket officials stated that this decision was made to ensure the young cricketer feels comfortable and secure in his new environment, ultimately helping him smoothly integrate and adapt to the national team culture.
