The tragic acid attack on Dr. Mah Noor Nasser in Balochistan has drawn swift and coordinated action from provincial authorities and security agencies, mentioning an immediate institutional response to the incident.
In this regard, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti took prompt notice of the incident and directed that all necessary medical and security measures be ensured without delay.
The Home Department and security officials confirmed that law enforcement agencies initiated a rapid response operation shortly after the incident was reported.
In an encounter reported to have occurred approximately half an hour after the incident, the suspect was killed, according to official sources.
In this sense, government representatives focused on that the response demonstrates the readiness of state institutions to act swiftly in matters concerning public safety and protection of citizens.
They reasserted that ensuring the safety of life and property remains a top priority for both the provincial government and law enforcement agencies.
Meanwhile, government officials, including the Assistant to the Interior Department, urged medical professionals and doctors’ associations to refrain from shutting down outpatient departments or adopting protest measures that may negatively affect patients, particularly those from vulnerable and low-income backgrounds.
It was stressed that uninterrupted healthcare services are essential for the public, and all stakeholders must work together to maintain access to medical facilities.
At the same time, government representatives appealed to all concerned quarters to avoid politicizing the incident. They emphasized that the situation requires unity, restraint, and collective support for the affected family rather than political debate.
The provincial government reiterated its commitment to ensuring justice and continuing all necessary legal and administrative measures in the case.
