ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has officially announced the date for the mandatory Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for admissions to medical and dental colleges across the country.
According to a PMDC statement, the MDCAT examinations will be held simultaneously nationwide on Aug. 16, 2026.
The official notification said this year’s examination syllabus would remain the same as the one issued last year.
Meanwhile, the NUMS MDCAT 2026 for Army Medical College and other CMH-affiliated institutions will be conducted on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026.
Registration for the NUMS MDCAT began on May 18, officials said.
PMDC advised students to regularly visit its official website for updated information and registration procedures related to the MDCAT examinations.
