KHUZDAR: At least seven people were killed and 22 others injured when a passenger coach in which they were travelling overturned on the M-8 highway in Khuzdar on Friday, officials said.
Women and children were among those affected in the accident.
According to local media reports, the coach was travelling from Kharan to Larkana when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn near Wango, a hilly areas of Khuzdar district on the M-8 Highway.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Muhammad Younis said six passengers died at the scene, while another succumbed to injuries during treatment at hospital.
District health officials said 22 people were injured in the crash, with several reported to be in critical condition.

Rescue teams shifted the injured to nearby hospitals, where they were receiving medical treatment, authorities added.
