Washington: US President Donald Trump has stated that his administration is working on a new agreement with Iran, which will be far better than the deals made during the Obama and Biden eras.
In his recent remarks, Trump said: “We are going to make a new deal with Iran that will be much better than the previous ones.”
He criticized the Obama administration for sending $1.7 billion in cash loaded onto airplanes to Iran, saying bankers were shocked when such a large amount was withdrawn from accounts in Washington DC and Maryland.
Trump declared that the era of shame and humiliation is now over.
He added that the new deal will bring pride and happiness to the world, and under this agreement, Iran will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
He further said the previous deal was paving the way for Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, but the new one will prevent that.
Trump also lashed out at “fake news” and Washington Post journalists for supporting the “shameful” old deal.
He made it clear that he will not make a bad deal with Iran and there is no hurry.
Trump also stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain blocked until a final agreement is reached.
He emphasized that the new deal will ensure peace and security in the region and described Obama’s Iran deal as one of the worst agreements ever made.
Trump also accused the Democratic Party of trying to undermine the successes of the US military.
