QUETTA : The first Hajj flight carrying pilgrims from Balochistan will depart from Quetta International Airport on the morning of April 21 at 5:44 am, sources confirmed on Sunday.
The inaugural flight will transport 300 Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, marking the start of this year’s Hajj operation from the provincial capital.
According to sources, a total of 4,487 Hajj pilgrims from Balochistan will be flown to the Kingdom through 15 special flights operating out of Quetta. The remaining flights are expected to follow a schedule to be announced by the relevant authorities.
Pilgrims have been advised to arrive at the airport well in advance to complete check-in and immigration formalities. Officials stated that all arrangements, including accommodation, transport, and other facilities in Saudi Arabia, have been finalized.
The Hajj flight operation from Quetta signals the beginning of the annual pilgrimage season for Balochistan, with authorities working to ensure smooth travel for all pilgrims. Further details regarding the schedule of subsequent flights are expected to be released shortly.
