LAHORE: Good news for millions of motorcycle riders in Punjab!
The Punjab government has released a grant for the Bikers Fuel Subsidy Program.
According to sources, Rs 6.20 billion has been released under the first phase of the scheme.
After registration, eligible motorcyclists will receive Rs 2,000 per month as fuel subsidy.
The disbursement of funds will begin once the registration drive is completed.
Sources said that around 12.5 million (1.25 crore) bikers across Punjab are being registered under this program.
A summary worth Rs 24 billion had been submitted for the full Bikers Subsidy Scheme.
