Nigeria: More than 200 people are feared killed after the Nigerian Air Force conducted an airstrike in the Maiduguri region.
The strike was carried out suspecting the presence of militants.
The Air Force claimed it targeted and killed Boko Haram fighters in Borno State.
However, the government of neighboring Yobe State stated that the attack took place near a market in a village located on the border with Borno.
The area has been severely affected by a long-running insurgency that has killed thousands and displaced hundreds of thousands of people.
