QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has welcomed the joint congratulatory resolution passed at the Balochistan Assembly Forum regarding the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, expressing happiness over what he termed a reflection of Pakistan’s effective diplomatic role and national unity.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Chief Minister stated that the unanimous resolution of the parliamentary forum is commendable. He noted that during a period of global tension, Pakistan played an important role in establishing peace by demonstrating balanced and wise diplomacy.
Bugti further praised the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, saying that their timely and effective strategies have further strengthened Pakistan’s positive image and given the country a prominent position in the international community.
Despite regional tensions, the Chief Minister said, Pakistan demonstrated patience, tolerance, and a peace-loving attitude — qualities that will continue to play an important role in promoting global peace in the future.
Reaffirming his government’s commitment, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said the Balochistan government will continue to advance the agenda of peace, stability, and development in collaboration with the federal government.
