Lahore: In a dominant PSL performance, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by a huge margin of 159 runs. Chasing a target of 247, Karachi Kings were bowled out for just 87 runs.
Azam Khan scored 25, Saad Baig 14, and Khushdil Shah 10, while the rest of the batsmen failed to reach double figures.
For Peshawar, Naheed Rana, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Sufiyan Muqeem each took three wickets.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi posted 246 runs — the highest score in the current PSL season.
Kusal Mendis scored 106, Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 87, and Abdul Samad was not out with 40.
Last night, Peshawar Zalmi had also beaten Hyderabad Kings by four wickets in an exciting contest.
