Lahore: Peshawar Zalmi clinched a dramatic four-wicket victory over Hyderabad Kingsmen in a nail-biting Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 match.
Hyderabad Kingsmen, who batted first, were bowled out for 145 runs. Kushal Perera top-scored with 58 runs, while captain Marnus Labuschagne contributed 27.
Iftikhar Ahmed was the star performer for Peshawar Zalmi, taking 4 wickets for just 21 runs.
Peshawar Zalmi got off to a good start but the match turned tense after Babar Azam’s dismissal. Chasing the target, Zalmi needed 14 runs in the final over.
Iftikhar Ahmed rose to the occasion, smashing a boundary on the first ball and a six on the fourth. He then sealed the victory for his team by taking a single on the last ball.
