SYDNEY: Australian cricketer David Warner, who is currently captaining Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has been charged with drink driving.
According to Australian media reports, Warner was stopped by police in the Maroubra area of Sydney.
He reportedly pulled over his vehicle before reaching the testing center, but police still conducted a breath test on him. The test returned positive, leading to his arrest.
Warner was taken to the police station by New South Wales Police. He has been summoned to appear in court on May 7.
Warner was in Australia on a short break from the PSL and was scheduled to rejoin Karachi Kings on April 9.
