Government announces holiday on Saturday

Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a public holiday across the province on April 4 to mark the 47th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

According to a notification issued by the Sindh Department of Services and General Administration, all government offices and local councils will remain closed on April 4.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has cancelled its traditional public rally scheduled for April 4, citing the prevailing situation in the country.

The PPP stated that instead of the rally, Quran Khawani gatherings will be organized at district headquarters across the province on the occasion of the anniversary.
