Lahore: The Session Court of Lahore announced the verdict of Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi after 8 long years.
Singer Ali Zafar had filed a case of defamation on Meesha Shafi who had accused him of sexually harassing her.
The case ran for around eight years in which statements of 20 witnesses were recorded.
As many as nine judges were changed during this tenure and 284 hearings were held.
Ali Zafar had claimed a compensation of 100 caror rupees from the model on account of defaming him publicly.
Additional and Session Judge Asif Hayat has announced the verdict of the case and has ordered Meesha Shafi to pay a fine of 50 lac rupees.
