Pakistan , China agree to boost strategic cooperation on Iran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China Decide to Further Strengthen Strategic Cooperation on Iran Issue

The Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and China have decided to further promote strategic cooperation regarding the Iran issue.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that China and Pakistan are strategic partners under all circumstances, and both countries hold identical positions on international and regional issues.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and China will further enhance strategic cooperation on the Iran matter and will continue joint efforts to maintain peace in the region.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that China will continue to play a constructive role in reducing tensions in the region.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed that despite the recent tense situation, three Chinese ships safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz, and expressed gratitude to the relevant parties for their cooperation.

China expressed regret over the damage caused to historical sites during the conflict and demanded that all parties, especially the United States and Israel, immediately stop military operations and refrain from escalating tensions.

It is worth noting that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is currently on a visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese Foreign Minister. During the visit, the two leaders will discuss the regional situation, bilateral relations, and international matters of mutual interest.
