Lahore: A mobile phone mechanic abducted and sexually assaulted a nurse in the Kot Lakhpat area.
According to police, the suspect, Usman, kidnapped the woman from Chung Stop and took her to a flat in Shami Park, where he subjected her to violence and repeatedly assaulted her.
He had reportedly been tracking the nurse for two weeks after she visited him for mobile phone repair.
The suspect also threatened to kill her while keeping her confined in the flat.
Kot Lakhpat police acted swiftly after receiving the complaint and arrested the accused from Shami Park.
SP Model Town Jahandad Akram stated that a case has been registered and further investigation has been handed over to the Gender Cell, adding that those involved in exploiting women will not be given any leniency.
