QUETTA: Millions of believers across Pakistan joined in spiritual gatherings on Sunday to offer Eid-ul-Fitr prayers, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Congregations were held in major metropolitan centers including Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Islamabad, as well as in smaller cities and towns across the country.
Following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the faithful donned new clothes, applied perfume, and partook in sweets before heading to prayer grounds and mosques. After the prayers, the atmosphere was filled with warmth as community members embraced one another, exchanging heartfelt Eid greetings and praying for the nation’s security and prosperity.
In a message of goodwill, the Buraq Baloch Media Group extended warm Eid wishes to the countrymen, celebrating the occasion alongside the nation.
The spirit of Eid was mirrored globally, with the occasion being observed with deep religious devotion in numerous countries around the world, including Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states. The largest congregations were witnessed at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, where millions of worshippers gathered to offer prayers in a scene of profound spirituality.
