Will It Rain on Eid Days? Met Office Issues Forecast

  NDMA Alerts for heavy rain & snow in multiple areas

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast cloudy weather in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with rain expected in several areas on Eid.

The department said rain is likely in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Buner, Battagram, Mansehra and Abbottabad.

It warned of hailstorms in mountainous regions and snowfall over higher elevations. It said cold conditions will persist in plain districts during both day and night.

In Peshawar, the temperature was recorded at 13°C, with humidity at 71%.

Temperatures dropped to minus 3°C in Chitral, 1°C in Dir, 7°C in Malam Jabba, and 8°C in Saidu Sharif.

Elsewhere, temperatures stood at 14°C in Bannu, 16°C in Dera Ismail Khan, and 9°C in Abbottabad.

The weather department advised residents to remain cautious and monitor updates on changing conditions.
