DG ISPR: We are responsible state; strike claims are ridiculous

Islamabad: While speaking to senior journalist Hamid Mir on a private TV channel’s programme Capital Talk, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Chaudhry Ahmed Sharif stated that Pakistan is a responsible state where attacks take place on mosques and madrassas.

He described the claims being made regarding the Kabul strikes as ridiculous and laughable.

He said that those responsible for terrorism are now themselves paying its price.

During the operation, Pakistani forces captured 44 check-posts belonging to the Afghan Taliban.

An ammunition depot contained stockpiles of missiles and drones.

No country in the world is ready to give any guarantee for the Afghan Taliban regime.

As a result of the operation, smuggling and cross-border terrorism have significantly decreased.

He noted that smuggling was also causing losses to Pakistan itself.

Now these elements keep moving around hiding with their own terrorists and do not spend even two consecutive nights in the same place.

The reputation of the Afghan Taliban regime is well known to the entire world.

He acknowledged that Afghan brothers and sisters are also compelled and oppressed under the Taliban regime.

Terrorists are propagating their material through Indian accounts on social media.

Pakistan is fighting terrorists with full faith and truth and will continue to do so.

For them, hell is written both in this world and the hereafter.

No one will be allowed to carry out terrorism inside Pakistan
