Pakistan’s electric vehicle market has expanded with the introduction of a new mini electric car, Nora EV, which is being presented as an affordable and environmentally friendly transport solution amid rising petrol prices in the country.
The vehicle was initially unveiled in November 2025, but details regarding its price and different variants have now been officially revealed.
In this regard, Nora EV is a four-seater vehicle categorized under the L7e class quadricycle segment and is specifically designed for urban commuting.
The compact design aims to make it suitable for city driving and short daily travel. The vehicle also features a spare wheel mounted at the rear in a jeep-style design, although it remains unclear whether the spare wheel is fully functional or primarily part of the vehicle’s exterior styling.
The top variant of the vehicle, EcoX, is equipped with a 3000-watt electric motor. It offers a maximum speed of up to 65 kilometers per hour and provides a driving range of up to 160 kilometers on a single charge.
The vehicle takes approximately six to eight hours to fully recharge, making it suitable for overnight charging at home.
Nora EV includes several modern features. These include air conditioning, a heater, Bluetooth audio connectivity, a 7-inch reversing display, power windows, remote central locking, an anti-theft alarm system, and a rearview camera.
The company is also offering a five-year warranty on the battery and motor. Additionally, a battery swapping facility is expected to be available, which could further improve convenience for users.
The company has introduced three variants of the Nora EV. The base model, Eco, is priced at Rs1.889 million and offers a driving range of up to 120 kilometers on a single charge.
The second variant, Eco Plus, is priced at Rs2.099 million and also provides a range of around 120 kilometers. Meanwhile, the top variant, EcoX, is priced at Rs2.299 million and offers the extended range of up to 160 kilometers.
