ISLAMABAD: OGRA Spokesperson Denies Rumors of Major Petrol and Diesel Price Hikes.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the spokesperson for the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) categorically denied circulating social media claims about significant increases in petroleum product prices.
The spokesperson clarified that no summary proposing a Rs 73.40 increase in petrol or an Rs 84.95 increase in diesel prices has been sent by OGRA to the Prime Minister’s Office.
They described the claims as completely baseless, fabricated, and having no connection to reality.
The spokesperson further emphasized that the news being spread on social media is false and concocted, urging the public not to pay attention to or believe such unverified and misleading information.
