ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mudassir, has urged members of the Pakistani community residing in Iran to exercise increased caution and remain vigilant amid ongoing tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
The ambassador called on Pakistani nationals to closely monitor the evolving regional situation and prioritize their personal safety. He focused on the importance of preparedness and responsible planning during the period of uncertainty.
“Under all circumstances, it is advisable for Pakistani citizens to keep their travel documents ready and make appropriate arrangements to meet their daily necessities,” the ambassador said.
He stressed that careful assessment of the rapidly changing environment is essential to ensure safety and avoid unnecessary risks.
The advisory comes at a time when diplomatic and security concerns in the region have intensified, prompting several governments to issue precautionary guidance to their citizens abroad.
He specifically urged travelers to follow instructions issued by Iran’s Civil Aviation Authority and to remain informed about relevant border timings and operational updates before undertaking any journey.
The embassy encouraged Pakistani nationals to stay connected through official channels for timely updates and verified information.
The Pakistani community in Iran, which includes students, businesspersons, and professionals, has been advised to remain calm, exercise prudence, and rely only on official sources for information.
