Security Forces Kill 4 ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’ Militants in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Security forces killed four militants of the ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’ network during an intelligence-based operation in Kot Isa, Daraban, officials said.

The slain militants belonged to the Gandapur group, known for targeting civilians and threatening local peace.

The operation was part of ongoing daily intelligence missions aimed at dismantling active terrorist networks in the area. Forces acted on timely and precise information, surrounding and neutralizing the militants. Officials said the move eliminated the immediate threat of further attacks.

Authorities described the militants as elements who spread fear and disrupt social order using deceptive and brutal tactics.

Security officials hailed the success as a demonstration of their professionalism, bravery, and high operational readiness.

“The Khawarij elements remain under constant pressure. Our operations have fragmented and isolated their networks,” a senior officer said.

Officials stressed that security forces are vigilant and ready to respond to any threat. The ongoing operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa underline the state’s commitment to eliminating Fitna al-Khawarij terrorism and ensuring long-term peace and stability.
