ISLAMABAD: Bahria University held its 28th convocation ceremony in Islamabad, said the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Monday.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf attended the ceremony as Pro-Chancellor and chief guest.
The university awarded degrees to more than 3,300 graduates in various disciplines.
Admiral Ashraf presented 108 gold medals and 105 silver medals to students who showed outstanding academic performance.
He said higher education institutions play a vital role in national development.
He praised Bahria University for its contribution to the promotion of higher education in the country.

Senior naval officers, prominent members of civil society, university officials, and parents of the graduates attended the ceremony.
