ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a warning of stormy weather and possible rainfall in various districts of Balochistan.
In Quetta, Pishin, Muslim Bagh, Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sibi, and Kalat, gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning, along with rain, are forecasted.
The situation in coastal areas is also concerning, with the possibility of stormy winds and rain in Kech, Panjgur, Washuk, Kharan, Khuzdar, and Gwadar.
The Met Department has appealed to citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and stay safe.
A noticeable drop in temperatures has also been recorded: minimum temperatures of 3°C in Quetta, 2°C in Ziarat, 5°C in Zhob, 13°C in Sibi, and 15°C in Turbat.
In Gwadar and Jiwani, minimum temperatures are likely to remain between 13°C and 15°C.
Experts warn that the effects of stormy winds, rain, and low temperatures could impact crops, homes, and transportation, making it essential to take precautionary measures.
Citizens are advised to stay updated with the latest weather information and postpone non-essential travel.
