ISPR: Balochistan ops over; 92 India-sponsored terrorists “sent to hell”

Pakistan Military Says It Kills 133 "Indian-Sponsored" Terrorists in Balochistan Operations

RAWALPINDI: The military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), issued a detailed statement on Saturday announcing that security forces had killed 133 terrorists in two days of intense, province-wide operations following a wave of coordinated attacks in Balochistan. The military directly blamed the violence on “Indian sponsored Fitna al Hindustan,” a term it uses for terrorist groups allegedly backed by India.

According to the ISPR, terrorists attempted to disrupt peace across Balochistan on Saturday, targeting the areas around Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, and Gwadar, among others. The statement condemned “cowardly acts” aimed at innocent civilians, revealing that 18 non-combatants, including women, children, and laborers, were killed in Gwadar and Kharan districts.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies immediately responded, successfully thwarting the attacks. “After prolong, intense and daring clearance operation[s]… ninety two terrorists including three suicide bombers [were] sent to hell,” the ISPR stated. The toll included 41 terrorists killed in operations in Panjgur and Harnai on January 30.

The military paid a heavy price for this success, with fifteen security personnel embracing “Shahadat” (martyrdom) during the clearance operations and intense standoffs.

The ISPR asserted that intelligence reports “unequivocally confirmed” the attacks were “orchestrated and directed by terrorists ring leaders operating from outside Pakistan,” a clear reference to India. It vowed to bring all perpetrators and facilitators to justice.

The statement concluded by affirming that relentless counter-terrorism campaigns under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” (Resolve for Stability) would continue at full pace to eliminate the “menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism” from the country. Sanitization operations in the affected areas are ongoing.
