KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced a province-wide holiday for all schools and educational institutions on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, according to an official notification issued by the Sindh School Education Department.
The notification stated that all public and private schools across Sindh will remain closed on February 4 in observance of the religious occasion.
The holiday will apply to all educational institutions in every district of the province, the department confirmed.
Shab-e-Barat, observed by Muslims across the country, holds religious significance and is marked by special prayers and night-long worship.
