Security forces kill two BLA militants in Kech

KECH: Security Forces Neutralize Two Terrorists in Encounter Near Jusak Cross, Kech District Pakistani security forces killed two terrorists in an exchange of fire near Jusak Cross (Jussak Bd) in the Makran Range area of District Kech, Balochistan, following intelligence about the movement of a suspect woman linked to a prior abduction incident.

According to security sources, information was received regarding the movement of a woman named Nargis (from Balicha, Tehsil Tump) in a silver Corolla vehicle, believed to be accompanied by terrorists (Ts).

In response, extensive nakas (checkpoints) and snap checks were established across the area to intercept the vehicle.

At approximately 6:55 PM, a snap checkpoint from 168 Wing observed the silver vehicle attempting to avoid the checkpoint and taking a detour near Jusak border area. The information was immediately relayed to a nearby Quick Reaction Force (QRF) from UC WC, which was patrolling in the Singhanisar vicinity.

The QRF pursued the silver Corolla. As the chase reached near Jusak Cross, fire was opened from inside the vehicle by the terrorists.

The QRF responded with effective fire, resulting in the neutralization of two terrorists.

One of the killed terrorists has been identified as Salim, a known militant who had been at large for the past two years and was involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.

The identity of the second terrorist is being ascertained; confirmation is expected to take time due to a head injury.

The area has been fully cordoned off by QRF personnel from 168 Wing. No casualties or damage were reported among security forces personnel or equipment.

The vehicle is currently being cleared, and pictures of the deceased terrorists, along with recovered weapons, equipment, and ammunition, have been documented.

Security officials stated that the operation stemmed from earlier reports of the woman’s movement and was conducted professionally.

This incident underscores the ongoing security operations in Kech district to counter militant activities and apprehend elements involved in abductions and terrorism in the Makran division.
