HARARE:  Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first against New Zealand in their ICC U19 World Cup 2026 Super Six match on Tuesday at Harare Sports Club.

Pakistan entered the Super Six stage with two points after a victory over Zimbabwe. To reach the semi-finals, Pakistan must win both of its remaining Super Six matches.

The semi-finals are scheduled for February 3 and 4, with the tournament final set for February 6 at the same venue. The top two teams from each Super Six group will advance to the knockout stage.

Pakistan’s playing XI: Sameer Minhas, Hamza Zahoor (wk), Usman Khan, Ahmed Hussain, Farhan Yousuf (c), Huzaifa Ahsan, Muhammad Shayan, Abdus Subhan, Momin Qamar, Muhammad Siam, Ali Raza.

New Zealand’s playing XI: Marco Alpay (wk), Hugo Bogue, Tom Jones (c), Suneeth Reddy, Jacob Cotter, Brendan Metzopoulos, Jaskeeran Sandhu, Kelem Simpson, Mason Clark, Hunter Shore, Luke Harrison.

The match is crucial for Pakistan’s semi-final ambitions in the 16-team tournament.
