ISLAMABAD: Gold and silver prices surged to record levels in global and local markets.
In the international bullion market, gold jumped $91 per ounce. The price reached a new high of $4,923 per ounce.
Following the global rise, local gold prices also soared. Per tola, gold increased by Rs 9,100 to a new high of Rs 514,662.
Per 10 grams, gold rose by Rs 7,802 to Rs 441,239.
Silver prices also climbed sharply. Per tola, silver increased by Rs 372 to Rs 10,275.
