ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released procedures and fees for citizens seeking age corrections on their national identity cards in 2026.
Citizens can apply to correct their date of birth or change their age, NADRA said. Applicants must provide valid documents, such as a birth certificate or other official records.
Where to Apply
Residents of Pakistan can submit applications at NADRA Registration Centers. Pakistanis living abroad can apply through Pakistani embassies or via the Pakistan ID application.
Fees for Age Correction on CNIC
NADRA’s fees depend on the duration of the age correction and whether the applicant resides in Pakistan or abroad.
For Residents of Pakistan:
- Up to 1 year change: PKR 1,000
- 1 to 2 years: PKR 2,000
- 2 to 3 years: PKR 3,000
- More than 3 years: PKR 5,000
- Second-time correction: PKR 10,000
For Pakistanis Abroad (in USD):
- Up to 1 year change: $15
- 1 to 2 years: $25
- 2 to 3 years: $40
- More than 3 years: $65
- Second-time correction: $125
