ISLAMABAD: Former Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri has said that the situation in Iran is extremely challenging and Pakistan must remain vigilant.
Speaking on the program “Baat Niklay Gi”, he warned that any action by the United States or Israel against Iran could push the entire region toward devastation.
He emphasized that Pakistan does not need to take sides in the matter and should closely observe developments.
Khurshid Kasuri further stated that Iran is a brotherly country of Pakistan, and bilateral relations between the two nations have remained positive throughout different periods.
The situation in Iran remains tense and complex, shaped by a mix of regional conflicts, international pressure, and internal challenges.
Rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly involving the United States and Israel, have increased concerns about possible escalation, which could have serious consequences for the entire region. Diplomatic efforts continue, but uncertainty dominates as global and regional players closely monitor developments.
Internally, Iran is also facing economic strain due to sanctions, inflation, and currency pressure, which have affected daily life for ordinary citizens.
These factors, combined with external threats, have made the overall situation fragile.
Regional countries, including Pakistan, are watching carefully, as any instability in Iran could impact regional security, trade routes, and political balance.
