FLORIDA: President of the United States Donald Trump said he played a key role in preventing eight wars around the world, including what he described as a highly dangerous conflict between Pakistan and India that could have had serious global consequences if it had continued.
The conflict, which he said occurred in May, resulted in the destruction of eight fighter jets. He stated that his intervention helped stop the escalation. The president also praised Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, calling him a highly respected and capable figure.
Furthermore, President Trump focused on the strength and global standing of the United States military, particularly its naval forces. He said the US Navy is the strongest maritime force in the world and announced major upgrades to increase its capabilities further.
The president said the United States is adding the world’s most powerful aircraft carrier to its fleet, noting that the country has a pressing need for new naval vessels. He added that US submarines are the most advanced in the world and claimed that the United States is at least 15 years ahead of any other nation in submarine technology.
In this regard, President Trump stated that the US possesses the world’s most advanced weapons and military equipment. He announced the construction of new, modern aircraft carriers and said that 15 state-of-the-art submarines are currently under development. According to him, no other country can match the strength of America’s modern naval fleet.
He said this growing naval power would act as a strong deterrent and instill fear among America’s adversaries across the globe.
He added that improvements are being made to naval headquarters and that boats used for drug smuggling are being actively targeted and destroyed at sea to prevent narcotics from entering the country.
Moreover, President Trump said drug abuse claimed nearly 300,000 lives in the United States last year, but argued that destroying drug-laden vessels saves approximately 25,000 lives each time. He stressed that U.S. borders are secure and the economy remains strong.
The president also announced plans to equip the Navy with new technology and establish a “Golden Fleet.” He said a new naval ship under this initiative would be 100 times more powerful than existing vessels, while a ship named Victory would help maintain U.S. military strength. He added that the project would also support the revival of the American shipbuilding industry.
