Pakistan’s player shifted to hospital in ambulance

DUBAI: After winning the Under-19 Asia Cup Final, the young wicketkeeper of the Pakistan team, Mohammad Shayan, has been shifted to a hospital by ambulance.

According to sources, Mohammad Shayan sustained an injury while fielding in the final match against India and had to leave the field.

He has now been taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

The Chairman of the PCB and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi personally monitored the situation and arranged for him to be shifted in an ambulance.

He instructed that Shayan be provided with proper check-up and treatment.

In a statement, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that it must have been the evil eye that caught Shayan.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan outplayed India in the Under-19 Asia Cup Final, beating their arch-rivals by a huge margin of 191 runs.

India were bundled out for just 156 runs while chasing the massive target of 348 runs.

Sameer Minhas made a stunning knock of 171 runs off just 113 balls. Ali Raza picked up four Indian wickets to help Pakistan lift the trophy after a convincing win.

The Pakistan team will now return to the country at 11:30 PM. A grand welcome is set to be held in honour of the team for making their country proud.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan won the Hong Kong Super Sixes event last month. Pakistan are also the champions of the Emerging Stars Asia Cup 2025.

A winning streak by young Pakistan players has given cricket fans a unique sense of joy and celebration.

Moreover, Pakistan’s national team has also won twoT20 Triangular series along with their series wins against Sri Lanka and South Africa in the recent times.
