ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board announced the opening of the foreign player registration window for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.
The PSL is Pakistan’s flagship T20 tournament. It features a blend of local and international players and coaches. Six city-based teams currently compete in the league. The upcoming season will include two additional franchises.
The 11th edition of the tournament will be held from March 26 to May 11. The expansion is expected to create more roster spots. Additional earning opportunities for foreign players are also anticipated.
Registration is required for inclusion in the player pool. Agents and independent players have been advised to complete the process by January 20, 2026, the board said.
Launched in 2016, the league is entering a new phase of expansion. The development was described as historic by the PCB.
Two new teams will be auctioned in Islamabad on January 8. The auction will be broadcast live.
